Troop 185 is a medium sized troop of some 60 boys and 20 active adult leaders. While the troop has grown over the past couple years, our boys remain a tight knit group. Every scout receives personal attention and is encouraged to advance.
We meet Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Our troop realizes scouts have other interests - sports, the arts, other clubs. We try very hard to be flexible to each scout's busy schedule.
Adventure
Our key activities are outside - camping, hiking, canoeing, biking.

The troop has key camping and cooking equipment, but Boy Scouts are responsible for personal camping items like tents, sleeping bags (0-degree rating recommended), backpacks (with external frames recommended) and day packs (bookbag size), and mess kits and utensils, as well as other personal items.
Besides camping equipment, the biggest expense involved is buying a Class A uniform.
Uniform Information
. A Scout also needs the Boy Scout Handbook.
