Eagle Projects Progressing

Brendan Murphy and a small band of fellow scouts, family members and his dog Sid Vicious designed and built a covered community message board in Shawnee Hills.  

The completed project can seen right behind the Shawnee Hills Police complex, off just off Dublin Road.













Brent Lewis, scouts and family spent two days clearing brush and debris from the Chapel in the Woods at The Riverside United Methodist Church.

Brent, his dad and Mr. Johnson are now putting the finishing touches on a new pulpit for the chapel.

Kevin Crossland Awarded Eagle

Family and Friends Celebrate at New Hope Church



Kevin Crossland (center) and all Eagle Scouts recite the Eagle Pledge. 


Kevin Crossland was was awarded his Eagle Rank on November 22, 2014.  Family and friends enjoyed a carefully planned ceremony at New Hope Church in Powell, where Kevin and his family are members.

After the ceremony, the gathering enjoyed a taco buffet in the church hall.

Kevin became Troop 185's 100th Eagle Scout in its more than 70 year history.
