Scouts Enjoy Geocaching Hunt

Triathlon volunteers earn geocaching merit badge

As they waited for the grueling duty of helping the HFP Triathlon at Deer Creek State Park, Troop 185 Scouts learned about geocaching.

Scouts hunted for and found hidden objects by means of GPS coordinates. The scouts had to track "The Travel Bug" which showed where a council patch was located.  If the bug was there, the scouts were able to tell where the patch was located.
