Wildcat Hollow Backpack

November 5-6, a small but hearty contingent went on a backpack trip to Wildcat Hollow.  Saturday was a long, hilly hike of ~11 miles.  Beat another troop to a great camping spot on top of a hill, then hiked out 3 miles the next morning.  Weather was beautiful, and the guys stuck together and did a great job!

Rail-Trail Campout- October 21-23

The troop traveled to Cuyahoga Valley National Park to ride the train and bike the trail, all while working on Railroading and Cycling merit badges.  We also got to visit the Canal Exploration Center.

Fall 2016 Cooking Dead Camporee

October 7-9, 2016 we attended the Cooking Dead Camporee at Camp Lazarus.  Cooking competition, Paintball target shooting and perfect camping weather.  We also welcomed Webeloes from Pack 200 and Pack 229 to join us!

HFP Fall Triathlon Campout, September 24-25

Had fun canoeing on Deer Creek Lake Saturday afternoon, then worked the HFP Fall Challenge Triathlon on Sunday to help raise money for the troop.  Beautiful weather and a good time!

Sunday, September 18- Fall Court of Honor

Sunday, September 18 brought our Fall Court of Honor.  The scouts were honored for there rank advancements and many merit badges earned during summer camp!

Mohican State Park Canoe and Hike Campout

September 9-11 Troop 185 camped in the group campground at Mohican State Park.  Saturday morning was spent canoeing on a nearby lake, and afternoon brought a 5 mile hike...then the rain hit.

We got a little wet, but everyone survived!
