April 29-30, The TURTLE!
The Turtle is a Buckeye District backpacking camporee that occurs every 4 years. 9 miles to camp, camp overnight, 9 miles back to the start. Troop 185 took a good contingent again this year, including some alumni (and sportacus)!

March 10-12, 2017. Ft. Ancient Camp out
Everyone had a great time this weekend, even though it was a little cold. Saturday morning we headed off to clean up the mounds at Ft. Ancient. After we went to the Ft. Ancient museum.

February 10-12, 2017. Iron Chef Cookoff!
Had a great Iron Chef cookoff this year. Went for a hike at Blackhand Gorge on Saturday Morning and had the cookoff Saturday evening.
The "We Ate No Weenies" award this year went to the Flying Lemurs of Antarctica patrol. Great job by everyone.

February 5, 2017- Scout Sunday
We had about 12 scouts help with the church service today. Bennett told everyone the story of his scouting career, and Mr. Hoy explained to the church just how much service Troop 185 had done in the last year. Mrs. Raabe was even able to recruit some possible merit badge counselors. A good Scout Sunday!
